A lifelong North Carolina resident, Tai C. Hensley is a graduate of Wake Forest University (B.A., Psychology) and Elon University (J.D.). Tai centers her practice on estate planning and administration. While attending law school, she served as treasurer for the Student Bar Association, a Business Associations teaching assistant, student attorney for the university’s entrepreneurship clinic, and resident-in-practice for the IRS, Office of Chief Counsel, Small Business and Self-Employed Division.
After graduating from law school, Tai worked with families to protect their assets, businesses, and the wellbeing of their children during transitional periods. Tai’s nuanced knowledge of the intersection of family, business, and estate planning issues enables her to anticipate clients’ needs and develop personalized estate plans. She enjoys assisting people in all stages of estate planning to protect their interests, plan for the future, and shape the legacy they want to leave for their loved ones.
Tai is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, Land of the Sky Estate Planning Council, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Buncombe County Bar. Tai is also currently serving a three-year term on the North Carolina Bar Association’s Elder & Special Needs Law Council.
In her leisure time, Tai enjoys tending to her plants, spending time with family, and travelling with her husband.
